My favorite song: Halloween

I'm all Thriller'ed out. You?

That being said, Michael Jackson's backup vocals on Rockwell's "Somebody's Watching Me" are some of his cleanest vocals (in my opin'n) of his 80s reign.

Before you head out with pillowcase in hand this evening, give these three beats a listen.

Btw--need a dj for a house party, office party, school event, sporting or fitness event, fundraiser? Drop me a line to get your booking on the calendar!

Sometimes people get you down, off track & questioning your self worth. Happens to everyone. Everyone with a  brain and a heart, I guess.

Those sometimes suck.

That's when you need "The Jam Session for One."

Here are 4 jams in my Session for One that I've had on loop repeat lately.  Click on each link to listen.

Haters gonna hate, but "God doesn't create junk" I was told recently.

Good stuff. So are these tunes:

Sprinting to the finish line

Anyone else limping into summer on fumes?

Making this turn left onto Ocean Drive in Avalon today, is the beginning of my three month long re-fueling with 93 octane.

If you're in Avalon or Stone Harbor this summer, please check back to www.jenmcgowanGO.com for my teaching schedule as I'm delighted to be teaching barre and spin in my favorite seven mile stretch of God's green earth.

Spun tracks for 1000 people who gathered to raise funds to fight sarcoma. Survivors and their supporters, human and canine, ran and walked through  Wilson Farm Park in Chesterbrook for the 3rd annual Steps to Cure Sarcoma 5K.

Awareness of the disease, support for research and the funds it takes to stay in the fight were all the name of the game on Sunday, led by emcee and ewing sarcoma survivor Mark Herzlich of the NY Giants.

My takeaway? Every day is a gift, no one can go it alone and there are people walking among us who are challenged by only God knows what...so we should be kind, patient and give the benefit of the doubt as often as we can. #takenothingforgranted
